The camps are designed to help work on individual technical skills, work in small group training environments, all while having fun with our staff. Our curriculum and methodology is designed to progress from the individual to the group training environment throughout the day. Players will learn to compete with skills competitions, small group training to help them understand the game, individual technical training, and small sided games to end the day. The Youth Academy program is a our starter program for players looking to just get into soccer. We provide a fun environment for the players to work on individual fundamental skills, promote motor skill development, and understanding of the game. The sessions are designed with fun games for the players to nurture their love of the game while encouraging them to develop their starter skills.
The Intermediate Academy program will allow players to develop their overall skills in a fun yet competitive environment and build a foundation for them to progress to the next level. Expanding on basic understanding of the game, players will be challenged to develop soccer specific individual techniques and skills. Each day, sessions will introduce a topic where players will work on fundamental techniques that will encourage creativity, competitiveness, and individuality.
The Junior Academy will help players expand their knowledge of the game while developing individual skills. The topic of each day will challenge players to become better students of the game through the introduction of basic team tactics in game-like situations. Small-sided games will mirror large scale tactics at an age-appropriate level. Players will continue to work on ball skills as the sessions are designed for players to become confident controlling the ball under pressure.
The Senior Academy program is designed to prepare and train players to play at the middle school level. Each session will emphasize understanding large-scale tactics and developing a style of play. Players will start to work on position specific skills and tactical understanding. Other topics that will be covered each day include athletic development, fitness, and the “Training vs Game” mentality.
